Klang is hot, humid and gets heavy rain, so we favour tough tropical plants — palms, heliconia, alocasia, bromeliads, loropetalum and hardy ground covers — on well-prepared, free-draining beds. Lawns need decent soil and drainage to stay thick. For edibles, chilli, okra, lemongrass and local herbs are reliable. We'll recommend a palette for your exact light conditions during the consultation.
