Edible garden

Herbs, vegetables and fruit for homes, schools, communities and rooftops. We set up the beds, get the soil rich, and teach you to keep it going. Workshops too, worms included.

Chilli, okra, lemongrass, tomatoes, pumpkin and herbs — grown in raised beds, trellises and rooftop planters. We run hands-on workshops for schools and communities.

What's included

Gardens you can eat from.

An edible garden in Malaysia has everything going for it — year-round warmth, plenty of rain — and a few things working against it: heavy downpours and soil that's often more clay than compost. We design around all of that: raised beds and galvanised planters for drainage, soil built up with our own Vermi Compost, and crops that suit the tropics and your appetite.

Because education is part of our mission, every project comes with the know-how to keep it going — and we run workshops for groups who want to learn by doing.

  • Site consultation: sun, water, access and what you want to grow
  • Raised beds, galvanised planters and greenhouse beds
  • Trellises for pumpkin, beans and climbing crops
  • Soil preparation with Vermi Compost and garden soil
  • Seedlings and planting: chilli, okra, tomatoes, lemongrass, herbs
  • Flowering companions for pollinators
  • Vermicomposting set-up and demonstrations
  • Workshops for schools, communities and corporate groups
  • Harvest and replanting guidance
  • Optional maintenance visits

Who it's for

Backyards, rooftops and classrooms.

Private residences

Backyard raised beds, herb planters by the kitchen and small greenhouses for landed homes and terraces.

Community gardens & schools

Shared plots and school gardens built with the people who'll tend them, backed by hands-on workshops for children and adults.

Commercial & rooftop projects

Rooftop and podium food gardens for offices, hotels and developments. See rooftop gardens.

How it works

Seed to harvest.

  1. Consult

We check sunlight hours, water access and structure (especially on rooftops), and talk about what you'd like to eat.

  2. Design & proposal

Bed and planter layout, soil plan, crop list and, if you want it, a workshop programme.

  3. Install

Beds, planters and trellises built, soil prepared, seedlings planted and vermicompost set up.

  4. Care & learn

Harvest guidance, replanting cycles and optional maintenance visits so the garden keeps going.
