A large white single-storey house with breeze-block screen walls, a columned entrance porch, a curved stamped-concrete driveway and long built-in concrete planters on a sloping site. The early photos show old paving, turf and tired soil being dug out of the planters and a small courtyard, skips of spoil being removed, and the planters refilled with dark planting mix from stacked bags. Later days show the entrance planter planted with elephant ears (Alocasia), Monstera and what appear to be Philodendron 'Xanadu'; the courtyard re-turfed around an existing small tree; a row of what appear to be red-tip Syzygium trees in the raised planters with drip irrigation; and spider plants (appear to be variegated Chlorophytum) on a drip line along a fenced planter. By Day 6 a lawn-edge border of heliconias, pink ground orchids (appear to be bamboo orchids) and variegated grassy tufts is in with spike garden lights, and a pebble courtyard has glazed bronze pots holding a heliconia, umbrella papyrus, a bird's-nest fern and a bowl with a flowering water lily.
Every photograph on this page is our own, taken on site. We have described only what they show.
